Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Pine Knoll. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to residents. Your responsibilities will include conducting general activity programs, supportive or maintenance programs, and maintaining accurate records of treatments given.

The ideal candidate will have a strong recommendation of membership to the American Occupational Therapy Association and State organizations. You will also be required to follow all established policies and procedures of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general activity programs and supportive or maintenance programs
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments given
  • Communicate with other personnel regarding patient treatment programs

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
  • Permanent or eligible for a COTA license to practice in the state
  • Strong recommendation of membership to the American Occupational Therapy Association and State organizations

Working Conditions:

  • Typical physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, carrying up to 50lbs, and pushing/pulling 75lbs
  • Comprehensible verbal communication skills and visual acuity corrected to 20/20 are required

Overtime hours are available.
