Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients recovering from surgery, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with the BORN regulations and professional standards of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team, making adjustments to care plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Current MA RN license required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years nursing experience is required
  • PACU experience required
  • ICU experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
  • Education and experience in a critical care setting
  • Certification or advanced training in specialty area preferred
