Position: Medical Scheduler for Endoscopy Services
Overview:
- Welcome patients and their families at the reception area.
- Facilitate patient registration for surgical procedures and admissions.
- Handle incoming phone inquiries and assist with insurance verification.
- Collect patient co-payments and provide support with billing processes.
- Oversee daily appointment schedules and manage surgical/Endoscopy bookings.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited medical program.
- Prior experience in gastroenterology and/or procedural scheduling is advantageous.
- Active CMA/LPN/RN license along with BLS certification.
- Familiarity with customer service principles, insurance protocols, and medical vocabulary.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Background check for criminal history.
- Drug testing.
- Health assessments and immunization verification.
