About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager to lead our technology team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach a team of software engineers to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo's technology standards and architecture
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and implement software solutions
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements
  • Act as a technical representative for the product team, providing guidance and support to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • 4+ years of experience with database technologies, such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres
  • 4+ years of experience with software engineering utilizing Java, Spring, Spring-boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture

Desired qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with messaging technologies, such as Kafka
  • Experience modernizing and migrating software applications
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)/Tanzu or other cloud computing technologies
  • Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD), DevOps concepts, and Site Reliability Engineering principles
