About the Role:
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.
  • Be accountable for managing all aspects of your pharmacy, including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory control, financial performance, loss prevention, and workflow optimization.

A key component of the Staff Pharmacist role is promoting patient health through effective adoption and management of patient care programs. You will also:

  • Lead with Empathy – display compassion and understanding for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues on your team.
  • Motivate and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize their strengths, address development opportunities, and bridge knowledge gaps.
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to developing meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy.
  • Successfully implement solutions by leading your team to achieve specified goals.
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare environment.
  • Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes.
  • Align others around our purpose to gain support and commitment.
  • Actively contribute to a 'team' culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
  • Apply acquired knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • An active Pharmacy License in the state where they are employed.
  • Not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
