Key Responsibilities:- Process and verify prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain accurate and detailed compounding records, including patient information and medication details.
- Verify the quality of medications and supplies, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
- Assist with quality control and performance improvement procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care, including coordination of care and maintenance of patient records.
- Supervise the activities of pharmacy support personnel, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with current clinical issues, industry practice standards, and accreditation standards, incorporating this knowledge into daily practice.
- Licensed R.Ph. in good standing with the Texas Board of Pharmacy.
- Three years of clinical experience, with a minimum of one year experience in infusion therapy.
- Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel and quality control procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
