Join Our Team as a Clinical Development Pharmacist

We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Pharmacist to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you'll create and maintain clinical content for specialty and traditional drugs covered under the Medicare Part D line of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of specialty and traditional pharmaceuticals, disease management, and therapeutics.
  • Use and develop knowledge of utilization management interventions, including prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits, and formulary exceptions.
  • Work in a matrix relationship with business partners and product teams to identify, develop, and monitor the impact of programs on supporting drug coverage through the pharmacy and medical benefit.
  • Interpret drug information to support utilization management and have knowledge of regulations impacting UM for Medicare, Medicaid, and Exchange clients.
Requirements:
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of managed care experience/Prior Authorization experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in clinical therapeutics for specialty drugs.
  • Proven proficiency in literature search and evidence-based medicine with strong oral and written communication skills.
