Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide leadership to individual contributors representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
  • Schedule Development: Develop integrated project schedules to satisfy development and delivery of ongoing and new business requirements.
  • Customer and Management Interaction: Work with customers and management to obtain approvals.
  • Change Management: Respond to changes to SOW, assess the impact, and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, and schedules.
  • Project Execution: Lead execution of Support Systems product development to complete the work statement.
  • Project Performance Metrics: Identify and report project technical performance metrics.
  • Resource Planning: Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project.
  • Project Performance Assessment: Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
  • Technical and Integration Leadership: Provide technical and integration leadership for the development and execution of project plans.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years' experience in leading teams or projects.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: 5+ years' experience supporting cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Lead Experience: 10+ years' experience as a Technical Lead for USAF deliverable capability.
  • Briefing Experience: Experience providing briefings to senior-level management.
  • Multi-Discipline Team Leadership: Experience leading multi-discipline teams.
  • USAF Technical Orders Experience: Experience with USAF Technical Orders and Time Compliant Technical Orders.
  • Technical/Source Data Reviews: Experience leading technical/source data reviews.
  • Organic Aircraft Modification Experience: Previous experience working in an organic aircraft modification environment.
  • Boeing Global Services Programs Experience: Experience with Boeing Global Services Programs.
Education/Experience
  • Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years' related work experience, Master + 7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
