Electrical Engineer

The General Purpose of this role includes developing distribution system engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments. As an Electrical Engineer I or II at PacifiCorp, you will analyze system designs, develop studies, run equipment tests, and conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing system design, programming, and modification
- Developing moderately complex electrical engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments
- Designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating systems, processes, or facilities to support Company objectives
Requirements for the position include a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university, basic knowledge and application of principles in area of engineering specialty, and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
A minimum of two or more years of directly related experience in the applicable engineering field is required for the Engineer II position. Additionally, knowledge of National Electric Codes and ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations are essential.
