POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Technical Services Supervisor to join our team at the Dickinson Renewables Facility. This role involves overseeing a team of process engineers dedicated to supporting refinery operations. The Supervisor will play a key role in managing team performance and fostering professional growth. This position will report directly to the Technical Services Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the refinery's technical requirements are consistently met. Assign, prioritize, and expedite troubleshooting, process optimization, and safety initiatives among engineers.
  • Effectively communicate with Area Team Leaders, Refinery Management, and other stakeholders to establish priorities and allocate necessary resources.
  • Promote Technical Service Excellence and mentor engineers by providing technical guidance and identifying training needs.
  • Assist engineers in making informed investment decisions and guide them in developing capital budget projects and decision support packages.
  • Manage engineer performance by setting ambitious goals and providing constructive feedback to support their long-term success.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the Refining industry.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Technical Services, Product Control, or Operations.
  • Authorization to work in the US on a full-time, indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience in the Refining or Petrochemical industries.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Technical Services, Product Control, or Operations.
This position is part of a job family with increasing levels of responsibility, competency, and skill. The actual position title and pay grade will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
