We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Childrens Hospital Of The Kings Daughter. As a PICU Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill children and their families.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for patients in the PICU
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing strategies to promote recovery and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Compact State license
- At least 1-2 years of experience in pediatric critical care, preferably in a PICU setting
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required; other certifications may be beneficial
