Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Specialist

At Summit Medical Staffing Nursing, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a NICU Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to critically ill newborns and their families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the RoleThe NICU Nurse Specialist will work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care.

- Shift: Rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
The Pediatric Progressive Care Unit at our hospital is a state-of-the-art facility that provides specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical conditions. Our unit features four video EEG monitoring rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, and a team of experienced healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or similar setting
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certifications: Current RN licensure and certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
