This is a senior-level position within our tax department, where you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Planning and Compliance
    • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
    • Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies, deductions, credits, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Conduct thorough tax research to stay updated on changing tax laws and identify opportunities for tax optimization.
    • Assist clients in resolving tax notices, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective tax planning strategies that align with their financial goals.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build strong and trusted relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
    • Understand clients' unique needs and goals to provide tailored tax advice and solutions.

    • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and to identify additional service opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax planning and compliance at a public accounting firm.
  • Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in tax software and research tools (e.g., CCH, RIA Checkpoint, Thomson Reuters).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
