Position Overview

IBP Project Leader: A Unique Opportunity

Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is on the lookout for a skilled IBP Project Leader to enhance our team. In this capacity, you will spearhead ADC's strategic initiatives, delineate project scopes, and establish the value proposition for product-portfolio operations.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing Integrated Business Process (IBP) Product/Portfolio Management, managing the monthly review cycle, and delivering critical updates to ADC Management. Furthermore, you will guide the definition, execution, and enhancement of business processes to support project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficiency of the Integrated Business Planning system
  • Serve as the primary contact for IBP process reporting and updates
  • Enhance accuracy in reporting product milestones
  • Support project managers throughout the project management lifecycle
  • Develop project scopes, plans, and budgets in collaboration with various departments
  • Align project execution with strategic objectives and promote Division-wide thinking
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and balance resources
  • Guide and mentor stakeholders in adopting new processes

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with Planview or Planisware is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical expertise in cross-functional program management
  • Experience in diverse functional areas such as R&D, Commercial, and Clinical
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
