As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining current employee payroll information in HRMS/Payroll database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of timesheets, and coordinating corrections with managers. You will also audit timecards, import and balance hours from Time System, and review and process pays in accordance with state regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will calculate overtime, pay rate differential, and other applicable special pay calculations, place stop payments and direct deposit reversals as needed, and prepare and balance pay data and manual adjustment batches. You will also complete pay transactions, including leave of absence, transfers, job status changes, and terminations, and calculate and process manual checks as needed. Furthermore, you will validate payroll preview data using various reports and Excel templates, complete corrections prior to transmission, and meet payroll transmission deadlines. You will also research discrepancies effectively, make appropriate corrections, and respond promptly to manager and employee inquiries, and maintain effective working relationships with other departments. You will provide support to Human Resources, operations, and department leaders with payroll processes, assist with handling Payroll Questions Email Inbox, calculate retroactive pay adjustments, complete and process garnishments from distribution to setup, review payroll salary allocation changes for accuracy and assign as needed, and provide paycheck calculation guidance to employees when needed. You will also assist managers and employees with time card procedure inquiries and training, calculate paid time off accrual adjustments, develop and distribute custom payroll reports, and assist in training Payroll Practitioner I staff. You will also assist with special projects, participate in meetings, and complete other duties as assigned by management.

This is a fully on-site position in Los Angeles, California. You will work on-site 5 days a week with potential to go hybrid down the line if performance is exceptional.
