Mutuels/Sportsbook Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mutuels/Sportsbook Cashier to join our team at WarHorse Casino. As a Mutuels/Sportsbook Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing betting information, printing tickets, and handling payment transactions while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter betting information into the system with precision and speed.
• Print tickets and process payment transactions in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service to guests, addressing their questions and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records and balance cash drawers throughout the shift.
• Stay up-to-date on sports, sporting events, and horseracing events to effectively communicate with guests.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a Sportsbook and/or Mutuels Writer/Teller preferred.
• One year of experience in guest service and cash/credit card processing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.

Work Hours:

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
