Job Title: Mutuels/Sportsbook Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mutuels/Sportsbook Cashier to join our team at WarHorse Casino. As a Mutuels/Sportsbook Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing betting information, printing tickets, and handling payment transactions while providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter betting information into the system with precision and speed.
  • Print tickets and process payment transactions in a timely manner.
  • Provide a superior guest experience by addressing questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and balance cash drawers throughout the shift.
  • Stay up-to-date on current sports, sporting events, and horseracing events to provide expert knowledge to guests.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience as a Sportsbook and/or Mutuels Writer/Teller preferred.
  • One year of experience in guest service and cash/credit card processing preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
