Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quality and Compliance Executive to join our team at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our Quality Department and Medical Staff Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short and long-range programs and project plans to achieve facility objectives.
  • Direct the planning and coordination of Quality Department and Medical Staff Office functions, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead Performance Improvement activities using CRMSs process improvement methodology PDSA.
  • Interview and select qualified personnel to meet department objectives, ensuring adherence to Affirmative Action/EEO practices and regulations.
  • Provide direction to the staff of the Quality department and Medical Staff Office, reviewing performance and approving staff evaluations.
  • Oversee the prioritization of projects and direct resources to ensure attainment of facility goals.
  • Ensure the department meets and adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements.
  • Coordinate training and process for Survey readiness, including tracers, identification of deficiencies, and oversight of action plans for improvement.
  • Participate on various committees and task forces as established by management to plan, organize, and drive the facility.
  • Make decisions required to maintain acceptable operations based on strategic goals and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare-related field (RN preferred), Master's preferred.
  • Three to five years of Quality Leadership experience.
  • Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification is required.
