At Jacobs, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our dynamic team in the National Capital Region. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customer's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team on end-to-end network planning, design, installation, and configuration to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance using advanced routing and switching technologies to drive innovation and excellence in our network solutions.
  • Analyze complex issues in designing and planning network infrastructures, both inside and outside plant, to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Advise on relevant policies, directives, plans, and CONOPS developments to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and present briefings and technical papers to stakeholders, highlighting your expertise and thought leadership in the field.
  • Participate in communication planning working groups to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing across teams.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced routing and switching technologies, including knowledge of layer 3 VPN services and infrastructure security.
  • Proven experience in network planning, design, installation, and configuration, with a strong understanding of end-to-end network architectures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
