Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at R.T. Moore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, and that any defects or issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project, using your skills and experience to find creative solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction management or supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in MS Office and other construction software. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The Site Superintendent will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noises, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work at heights.
