Position Overview:
Siemens Digital Industries Software is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven individual to take on the role of Solutions Strategist within our Aerospace, Defense, and Transportation (ADT) Business Unit.
As a Solutions Strategist, you will serve as a pivotal resource responsible for crafting innovative software solutions utilizing our Xcelerator portfolio, empowering our clients to achieve their digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be part of a Professional Services team, working collaboratively with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer success.
As a key resource, you will translate business needs into specific, process-aligned designs for the Siemens DI Software solution, adhering to industry best practices.
Collaboration with clients will be essential to manage expectations and facilitate adoption by showcasing the comprehensive Siemens Delivery framework.
You will ensure the technical soundness of the solution, maintaining alignment with requirements and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle to maximize customer benefits.
Your leadership will guide process design, integration, and change initiatives, whether internally or at client locations, while leveraging relevant templates to lead project solutions and curate best practices.
This position will primarily operate under self-direction, determining solutions, methods, and procedures for assignments/projects.Additionally, you will engage in the Architecture Community of Practice, advocating for adoption within projects and ensuring that knowledge and insights are shared across project and program boundaries.
Essential Duties:
• Understand and illustrate how Siemens solutions will integrate with customer initiatives, business drivers, and overall impact.
• Analyze and convert business requirements into an architectural framework that outlines solutions integrating across applications, systems, and platforms to meet business goals.
• Utilize industry-standard methodologies and templates for the Siemens Software solution to deliver customer value.
• Lead the application of Solution Definition and Solution Enablement elements within the DI Deployment Framework on projects.
• Provide timely and accurate updates to the project management team, collaborating on project status, issues, risks, and benefits.
• Establish and nurture effective relationships with internal and external technical peers, building new connections through networking to support successful delivery.
• Set and manage customer expectations, demonstrating thought leadership to influence key stakeholders and recommend optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with senior project leadership and account teams to apply customer management strategies for successful adoption of viable DI solutions.
• Conduct validation activities, including prototyping with customers to confirm the applicability of templated solutions to their environment, rationalizing and defending selected solutions to demonstrate their value.
• Identify necessary process changes and assist customers in driving Organizational Change.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution, preferably with a background in software engineering; an advanced degree may substitute for demonstrated experience.
• Several years of experience designing Teamcenter or similar customer solutions.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience as a Solutions Architect.
• At least 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in leading large software implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile principles in project execution.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex issues to diverse audiences and effectively communicate progress, status, and challenges to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated team leadership abilities.
