Structural Analysis Engineering Manager 3

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Engineering Department Manager to lead our Structural Analysis Engineering groups in the South Bay Organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring the successful execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and manage the department's technical oversight.
- Be responsible for staffing, recruiting, performance reviews, timecard approval, career development, and department process creation.
- Participate in Independent Review Teams, Staffing Review Boards, Basis of Estimate reviews, and other programmatic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related engineering experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience and managing engineers.
- 5+ years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements.
- 3+ years providing technical leadership of an engineering team.
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) or PAR/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience in vehicle engineering: liaison, subsystems, structural analysis, or structural design.
- Proven history of leadership.
- Experience with TeamCenter or equivalent PLM software.
- Experience with NX or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience with FEMAP and Nastran.
- Experience with MES.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and across team environments.
- Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously.
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
- Ability to lead an engineering or cross-functional team.

Salary Range: $180,600 - $271,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
