We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Silver Diner Development, LLC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items according to our specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Prepare menu items to exacting standards, adhering to our recipes and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our high standards of sanitation and safety
  • Count and rotate prepped items, ensuring freshness and quality
  • Measure and assemble ingredients according to our recipes
  • Label, date, and store prepped items properly, using FIFO rotation
  • Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to our kitchen management team
Requirements:
  • Previous cooking experience is preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand/walk on hard surfaces for 10-12 hours per day
  • Must have weekend and holiday availability
  • Must be 18 or older
