Machine Operator/Packer Medical Specialist

Job Summary

The Machine Operator/Packer will be responsible for operating various machines, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and ensuring maximum efficiency and production quality. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various machines to established standards and working order.
  • Meet productivity standards and troubleshoot issues related to quality or productivity.
  • Suggest improvements to processes and procedures, and coordinate with personnel and engineering for issues and improvements.
  • Actively participate in risk assessment activities and incident investigations, and support implemented corrective actions.
  • Understand and utilize all ISO procedures, and participate in safety observation programs as required.
  • Complete required documentation, perform 5S and other housekeeping duties, and train others as needed.
  • Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach within the department and plant.
  • Packaging, measuring parts with gauges and calipers, and using and recording production and print labels through Plex.
  • Occasionally wire feed machine during coil changes, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to be on time, dependable, and reliable.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand and be in motion throughout the shift.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
