Xylem is seeking a skilled Pipeline Inspection Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our operations, you will be responsible for conducting water pipeline assessments and inspections using proprietary inspection technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of water pipelines to assess condition and identify potential issues.
  • Operate proprietary inspection equipment, including PipeDiver, SmartBall, PipeWalker, PipeCrawler, Sahara, and SoundPrint technologies.
  • Review design drawings and write planning documents for successful inspections.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute field work, ensuring minimal supervision is required.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of inspection results and submit reports as needed.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying potential issues before they become major concerns.
  • Participate in safety meetings, actively review safety risks, and take corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to read construction drawings and maps.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
