Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. This role involves performing technical work and related patient care involved in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease and interventional radiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature requiring attention to sterile technique, close patient observation, and specialized radiographic equipment.
- Perform diagnostic or/and interventional studies.
- Assist cardiologists in cardiac procedures.
- Understand and apply hemodynamics principles.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR (BLS) certification.
- Education: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience plus passing the RCIS exam within 1 year of employment.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
- I.A.B.P. and Impella.
- Basic EKG recognition and ability to perform EKG and recognize dysrhythmias.
- Radiation Safety.
- Perform procedures using sterile technique.
