Cath Lab Tech Job Summary

As a Cath Lab Tech at Steward Health Care, you will assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilizing sterile technique and monitoring physiological parameters. You will provide 24-hour coverage for emergency procedures, demonstrating a working knowledge of all equipment used during procedures and documenting all pertinent patient data accordingly. You will also maintain a cooperative relationship with co-workers and other hospital employees according to the values of Steward Health Care.

Scope of Care
Cardiology Services provides non-invasive diagnostic testing and invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease, unstable angina, valvular disease, dysrhythmia, congestive heart failure, ST/non ST elevation MI, and peripheral vascular disease.

Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor physiological parameters and maintain sterile technique
- Document all pertinent patient data
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with co-workers and other hospital employees

Requirements
- At least 2 years of hospital cath lab experience
