Job Summary

This role involves performing advanced administrative and technical tasks in support of clinical research trials. The position requires management of several large, multi-center, investigator-initiated, federal, and industry-sponsored clinical trials.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing new clinical trial research protocols for IRB submission, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Managing regulatory activities associated with ongoing clinical research protocols, including amendments, financial disclosures, and adverse events.
  • Uploading regulatory documents into designated systems and providing regulatory support to clinical investigators and staff.
  • Creating and maintaining training schedules for research faculty and staff regarding compliance best practices.
  • Conducting quality control inspections of clinical trials to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Performing additional job-related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

A Master's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, or health sciences, along with experience in research or clinical laboratory settings, particularly in clinical trial research.

OR

A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of research or clinical experience, including supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification as a Clinical Research Professional or similar credentials.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proficiency in FDA/GCP regulations and computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat), with the ability to learn to navigate online tools as necessary.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Pay Band: B8

Salary: $45,400 - $55,000

Salary will be determined based on the qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range.
