Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Panels Engineer to join our team at Thermon, Inc. in San Marcos, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity to design and develop control panels that meet customer specifications, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design small to medium projects or multiple small projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to generate accurate drawing packages
  • Work closely with customer representatives to resolve technical issues
  • Create and review drawings using AutoCAD and other software
  • Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with industry standards
  • Support production staff to ensure physical products align with designs
  • Maintain adherence to Thermon procedures and guidelines for quality and project execution
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience with CAD software (AutoCad, See Electrical, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and Document Control systems
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, CEC, UL 508A, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with hazardous locations standards (NFPA 496, UL 121201, CSA equivalents, etc.) preferred
