Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care to critically ill patients, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia or compact state.
  • One year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in an ICU environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
