As a key member of our dining room/catering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Food Service Assistants in the dining room/catering area, overseeing the serving of food, replenishing food stations, and ensuring proper handling of cash and stock.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of sanitation and safety, adhering to strict deadlines and protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Two years of food service experience in a hospital, nursing home, or restaurant setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, interpret customer requests, and work well under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and use lifting equipment for heavier loads.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
