Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Galloway & Company, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil infrastructure projects, including site layout, grading, erosion control, storm sewer, water, sanitary sewer, roadway, and fueling design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • Adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a detailed process.
  • Assist in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for subdivisions, commercial developments, multifamily developments, and public works projects.
  • Participate in the preparation of calculations, such as storm drain, wastewater, water system, earthwork quantities, transportation, cost estimates, and other supporting documentation for public and private projects.
  • Takes an active role in new business development by performing quality production work to build strong relationships with existing clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineering curriculum.
  • Typically, 0-2 years of experience.
  • Possesses Engineering Intern certification or can take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
