We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN to work in our dynamic Operating Room environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, and a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse Operating Room position involves working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Our Operating Room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and we are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' unique needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health personnel, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in educational programs, workshops, and conferences to stay current with best practices and medical advancements.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid RN license in the state of New Mexico or a reciprocal agreement state.
- CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Experience working in an operating room setting, preferably with experience in pediatric and adult care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
