The Colorado Engineering Manager oversees all CCS Engineering jobsites within their designated region. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Maintenance, with a strong background in leadership and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee entire physical plant operations, including maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate activities of engineering, maintenance, and safety teams.
- Consult with designers, architects, engineers, vendors, maintenance providers, and contractors to ensure quality services.
- Administer the Property/Community Risk Management Procedure Plan and direct staff project assignments within budget and on schedule.
- Develop and monitor departmental budget, forecasts, and staffing plan, ensuring proper utilization of financial resources.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible work experience in physical plant operations, preferably in the Commercial real estate or related environment.
- Experience or training with electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building automation systems required.
- Current Universal EPA Certification required.
This role requires the ability to work in a well-lighted, well-ventilated building, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise. The position also requires the ability to tolerate fluctuations in temperature, wet and/or humid conditions, and frequent interruptions.
