Job Title: Assembly Specialist
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
The Assembly Specialist plays a critical role in the production process at Vision Engineering. This individual is responsible for assembling products in accordance with established company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble assigned products in accordance with work instructions while adhering to productivity and quality standards.
- Perform spot checks on products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
- Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos;
- Ability to write simple correspondence;
- Manual dexterity for small part assembly;
- Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
Work Environment:
The Assembly Specialist will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
