Project Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Science and Technology Market team at our Madison office. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading major Science and Technology/Life Science projects, developing client relationships, delivering projects according to client needs and budget, and guiding a team of engineers from project conception through occupancy.

Responsibilities

* Lead major Science and Technology/Life Science projects, developing client relationships and delivering projects according to client needs and budget
* Guide a team of engineers from project conception through occupancy
* Participate in project interviews, providing high-level client service and establishing long-term partnerships
* Keep abreast of market trends and ensure successful resolution of all technical and service issues

Requirements

* BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
* Professional engineering registration
* 10+ years in the consulting environment, designing complex HVAC building systems or leading design projects for Science and Technology/Life Science facilities, across MEP disciplines
* Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated clients' healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&D facilities
* Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff
* Long history of very satisfied clients, specifically within the Science and Technology market
