As an HR Operations Specialist, you will serve as the primary HR liaison and representative for all factory personnel, playing a crucial role in supporting and championing employee needs.


Position Title:
HR Operations Specialist

Location:
Jefferson City, Missouri (100% on-site)

Contract Duration:
6 months

Compensation:
$35 to $45 per hour based on experience

Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday - Friday, with the flexibility to accommodate night shifts to support the 24/7 operational needs during incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the face of HR within the organization, promoting an open-door policy.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees, frontline leaders, and management on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.


- Foster site engagement and drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR policies.
- Oversee comprehensive HR solutions and project teams from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is documented.

- Manage the medical accommodation process in accordance with federal and state regulations (FMLA, short-term leave, and other medical leaves).

- Address incident reports and facilitate performance discussions (PIPs, process enhancements).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

- 2-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in Employee Relations within a manufacturing context, including investigations, performance management, compensation assessments, and employee engagement.

- Proficiency in navigating and utilizing an HRIS system.

- Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making to enhance performance (experience with PowerPoint and Excel v-lookups is essential).

- Proven capability to design, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of organizational interventions.

- Familiarity with Kronos or Workday is advantageous.
