Phaxis is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a local contract job in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with students of various ages and abilities to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a Speech Language Pathologist to work with students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of various ages and abilities and will be able to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Work with students, teachers, and parents to implement treatment plans and provide support
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as occupational therapists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive services to students
  • Document student progress and communicate with parents and teachers
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with students of various ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
