We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Charlotte, Raleigh, or Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of the mechanical design team, establishing meetings with governing agencies, and reviewing mechanical documents for code compliance.

As a Mechanical Engineer at HDR, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including commercial and institutional buildings. You will be responsible for writing and editing mechanical specifications, selecting equipment and mechanical systems, and conducting QA/QC on the work of other team members.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and previous experience in mechanical system design. A PE license and experience with MS Office and Trane TRACE software are also required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Architectural Engineering and experience with sustainable design/LEED.
