About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Service Specialist to join our team in Anchorage, AK. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their automation systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies to optimize system performance
  • Collaborate with internal service team members, including Service Sales, Client Service Managers, and Service Coordinators, to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Follow safety protocols and complete assigned training to ensure compliance with Siemens and customer requirements
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on automation systems, including HVAC, electrical, and building operations
  • Support after-hours service calls and respond to emergency situations as assigned
  • Document services performed and generate reports within Siemens tools
  • Provide training and support to customer personnel on system operations and maintenance
  • Identify and report system discrepancies, suggest upgrades, and assist with pricing and project management
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment
  • Electro-mechanical experience and user PC/software skills
  • Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet, as well as carry and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Specialized skill training/certification
  • 1+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment
  • Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations
  • Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background
  • Knowledge of building system communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP)
