As a key member of the Health First Private Duty team, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Supervise and train Home Health Aides to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Comply with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as Health First Private Duty policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current Florida RN license.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Successful completion of Level II background screening.
  • Valid driver's license or ID card.
Physical Demands

The Private Duty RN must be able to:

  • Move safely in crowded conditions.
  • Operate a motor vehicle in variable conditions.
  • Perform clinical tasks requiring visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Lift, turn, pull, or ambulate patients up to 20 times daily.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds, unassisted, up to six times daily.
Work Environment

The Private Duty RN will work in a variety of home environments, providing care to patients in their own homes. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
