Integral Care is seeking a skilled Relief Psychiatrist to join our team in providing high-quality medical services to individuals in acute psychiatric crisis or at risk of serious deterioration. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and stability.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the presence of psychopathology and develop a diagnostic formulation.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the client's needs and goals, including medication management, therapy, and referrals to community resources.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including emergency evaluations, stabilization, and linkage to ongoing care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document client interactions, progress, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Doctorate degree in medicine (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Texas.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Current DEA license.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with a preference for proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken by our client population.
