Medical Office Specialist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Specialist PRN to join our team at Texas Joint Institute. As a Medical Office Specialist PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office functions, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all front office functions, including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
  • Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information.
  • Assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) including balancing the day in the computer.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred.
