Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

LyondellBasell is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct the work of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential maintenance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High level of proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in managing capital appropriation requests and project management.
  • Strong root cause analysis and remediation skills.
