Key Responsibilities- Receive, identify, and prioritize specimens for testing, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Perform and report laboratory procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct quality control and proficiency testing, as well as routine instrument maintenance and inventory control.
- Evaluate patient identification and take steps to reduce analytical and post-analytical errors.
- Assess and evaluate test results, drawing appropriate conclusions and making recommendations for patient care.
- Support ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- State licensure and/or national registration or certification in accordance with current Federal and/or State regulations.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in laboratory information systems.
