Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Bank personnel and law enforcement authorities to respond to robberies and other crimes.
  • Develop and implement procedures to discourage robberies and theft within the bank.
  • Administer the selection, testing, and operation of all security devices and settings at all branches.
  • Establish procedures for opening and closing all locations.
  • Identify, analyze, and control existing and potential security hazards.
  • Provide security training, support, and guidance to all bank personnel.
  • Advises the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Management on emerging security issues and guides the bank in establishing controls to mitigate risk.
  • Annual security report to the bank's Board of Directors on the implementation, administration, and effectiveness of the Security Program.
  • Provide an effective check and balance system with the bank's BSA Officers to ensure that appropriate prevention and recovery strategies are developed and implemented.
  • Protect the bank's image and professional reputation by providing a perception of safety and soundness.
  • Assist the BSA Officers with the monitoring of the Bank's Anti-Fraud/Anti-Money Laundering software and subsequent investigations/reports.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of the bank's security and operational systems.
  • Prior banking experience is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Systems and current security system proficiency.
Working Conditions

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
