Job Summary:

The Logistics Specialist II with or without a Crane Operator delivers building materials to customers' places of business or job sites within a 200-mile radius of the home branch. The role involves operating a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations, ensuring job site safety, and performing pre and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Deliver building materials to customers' places of business or job sites.
  • Ensure job site safety by operating equipment in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck comparing purchase orders and delivery tickets.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Truck Crane Operation Certification a plus.
  • Ability to load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each off of a straight bed truck on a continuous basis.
  • Must be a safe driver with no hit & runs or no DWI or DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations for Logistic Specialists a plus.
