Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at KLM Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial processes and machinery
  • Implement and commission control systems at client facilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutions
  • Develop project execution plans, work breakdown structures, and associated budgets
  • Oversee daily operations and activities of projects up to $10M
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Greater than 8 years of experience in automation solutions, control systems, and project management
  • Experience with PLC programming, PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions, and Emerson DeltaV platform
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA hardware/software platforms, DCS hardware/software platforms, and industrial networking
  • Project Management experience with a PMP certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Building Automation, Food and Beverage, Water Treatment, and general manufacturing
  • Experience with AutoCAD and experience leading a team of engineers/technicians
  • Professional references from a subordinate, a peer, and a manager
