About the Role

The Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) is a vital member of our healthcare team, working under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide exceptional patient care. As a Journey MA-R, you will perform a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks, from taking vital signs to assisting with medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed practitioners with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, promoting a positive and supportive care environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of medical assistant experience.
