About the Role

The Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) plays a vital role in providing patient care to assigned patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. This position requires a high level of clinical competence and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical duties as directed by a licensed practitioner, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months of healthcare experience.
  • 6 months of medical assistant experience.
